What's new?

Two updates when AI drafts an estimate from a video or an inspection:

• The video attaches itself as the walkaround, so your customer watches the explanation beside the work it covers.
• The AI checks what your customer already approved on the repair order and keeps it off the estimate, so the new findings are the only thing left to decide on. Available for CDK and Reynolds.

Edit photos and videos right in the app before they go out so what your customer receives shows the problem and nothing else.

Vehicles now have their own place in Kimoby, and one customer can hold as many as they own. Search by VIN or plate, see every car on the customer's profile right in the conversation, and tie each estimate to the right one. Your customer's estimate now shows the VIN and vehicle details too, so nobody has to ask which car the price covers.

Manage vehicles under Customer → Vehicles or directly in the customer profile.

The text your customer gets when a Voice call ends is yours to write. Send them an online booking link so they can book their own visit, or a roadside number, in your store's own words.

If you run on CDK, work your customer approved on the repair order now syncs straight to the estimate. Your customer sees what they approved at drop-off separately from what your tech is recommending today.

Flip on auto-refresh and a list updates itself every 30 seconds, so new repair orders and status changes show up automatically. Repair orders, inspections and your Kimoby Go lists also export to CSV or Excel now, delivered to your email with the columns from your saved view kept intact.

How it works
The auto-refresh toggle and export button can both be found at the top right of any list.

Every text your customers receive during a loaner booking can now be written your way. Adjust the tone, add your store's details, and make each message sound like it came from your team.

Most stores have no clear visibility into what happens on their phones. If you're on Voice, you now have a dedicated analytics dashboard that shows how your AI is performing and how call patterns trend over time.

A payment terminal can now serve several of your stores, whether it rides on the parts truck or sits in a lane two rooftops share. Switch stores right on the device, and every payment is charged and receipted under the one that took it, so nothing lands in the wrong books.

Select Switch Account on the terminal front screen to switch and add accounts. 

If you run more than one store, you can now see inspection metrics for every rooftop in a single dashboard. No more switching accounts to build a group-level report.

Click on the company name at the top right of your screen, then click on Go to Multi-Account Metrics.

Your estimates now carry the full amount, fees and taxes included. Shop supplies, environmental fees, whatever your store adds to a ticket lands on the estimate automatically. Set a rule once, apply it to every estimate or only when specific op codes are on the ticket. Every advisor charges the same way and the total your customer approves is the total on the invoice.

Taxes are included for everyone. Automatic fee rules are a Service Lane OS Pro feature.

With Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, techs can record a full inspection without ever reaching for a phone, so video feels as natural as walking around the car.

How it works
Record your video in the Meta app, tap Share, and select Kimoby. Find the repair order and the video attaches directly.

With manual card entry, your team can now collect a customer's card details over the phone and process the payment directly in Kimoby. No physical terminal needed. Every transaction is logged in your account so you keep full visibility on your operations.

From the top navigation, click the arrow next to New message and select Payment. Search for the customer, choose your payment method, then select Add payment and click Pay manually to enter the card details and complete the transacti

You now control which mobile and in-person payments get surcharge and which don't. Set account rules to apply it automatically above a certain amount, so customers who want to put a large transaction on their credit card can do so without your business absorbing the processing costs.

How it works

• In any payment request, check or uncheck Waive surcharge for that transaction.
• To set account-wide rules, go to Pay → Settings → Surcharge Settings (admins only).

Configure customizable views to surface exactly the information you need at a glance, with none of the noise that gets in the way. Build up to four status-based lists on a single screen, each showing a different slice of your lane.

On any of the available sections, click Manage at the top right of the screen. Select Create view to add a new saved view, or Create grouped view to build a dashboard with multiple panes side by side.

• When you'd rather pull a full job in at once, paste any block of part numbers, descriptions, quantities, and prices straight from your EPC or DMS. The paste does not need to be cleanly structured. You get a column mapper to assign each one to part number, name, quantity, price, or skip, and every line lands on the estimate together in one click. 
  
  
• You can move through every field with Tab and Enter, and as soon as a part number is filled in, the cursor drops to a fresh line so you keep typing without ever reaching for the mouse.

Once an MPI is finished on a repair order, you can generate the full estimate in one click. You get back lines with the 3Cs already filled in (Complaint, Cause, Correction), and each failed inspection item is linked to the matching line. If there's a video on the RO, the transcript can feed in too.
