When you connect Kimoby to Tekion, customer profiles, service appointments and repair order data sync over, and the Kimoby Pay terminal fills in the customer, RO number and amount due. The Tekion connection is pull only. Data comes in from Tekion, but nothing writes back to the RO, including payments. Texting, video, loaners and campaigns all run on that same data.
It stops every tool from becoming its own island. Without a DMS connection, your advisor looks up the RO in Tekion, then re-enters the same customer and vehicle into whatever else they use to text, inspect or take a payment. The Tekion connection removes that re-entry step across the platform.
At the Kimoby Pay terminal, the customer, RO number and amount due fill in directly from Tekion. Your advisors don't re-key anything mid-transaction.
No. The Tekion integration is pull only, and write-back isn't planned. When a customer pays in Kimoby, the payment doesn't mark itself paid against the RO in Tekion. Someone on your team still closes it out in the DMS.
Automatic payment write-back works on CDK only. If that's the feature your store cares about most, it's better to know now than to assume parity with CDK.

Missed calls. Kimoby Voice catches the calls your team can't pick up, transcribes and summarizes them, and lets the caller switch to text. It doesn't book appointments yet.
Loaners. A loaner agreement in Kimoby Go references the same customer and vehicle record, so it's not a separate paper trail from the repair.
Campaigns. Declined-service follow-up, recall outreach and warranty-expiry campaigns through Kimoby Grow draw on the same customer and vehicle history, not an exported list.
Your DMS is the system of record. With Kimoby on top of it, your advisors turn that record into conversations, approvals and payments, using the same Tekion data they already work from. It's not one more screen to check on the side.
